The Chevrolet SSR is a combination sport roadster and pickup truck. It presents a
retro look and features a retractable hardtop, a lockable pickup box, and 19-inch
front and 20-inch rear wheels. The SSR is powered by a 5.3L Vortec V-8 engine
producing 300 horsepower. Standard luxury amenities include leather bucket seats,
heated outside mirrors, a six-way power driver seat, and other power features.
Mechanically, the SSR boasts standard four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, traction
control, sport suspension, and a limited slip differential. The upgraded 1SB
package includes a Bose sound system with six-disc CD changer, Homelink, heated
seats, and an auto day/night mirror. Options include running boards, wood trim, and
unique gauges.
