Reasons to Buy Online from Karl Tyler Chevrolet:

View our customers' locations!
(last updated March, 2007)

Karl Tyler Chevrolet is a premier online dealer of Chevrolet vehicles because of aggressive pricing and extensive experience in its Internet Department. Below is a list of reasons why we recommend that you strongly consider Karl Tyler when shopping around the Internet for your next new or used vehicle.

1. No co-op advertising: The dealerships in our area have opted out of almost all of the co-op advertising fees that are typically used by dealers to produce mass advertisements in more populated areas. When you see television ads for "your local Chevy dealers," these ads are typically paid for out of co-op fees added to each of their vehicles' invoices. In regions as remote as Montana, where Karl Tyler is located, we have no need for this kind of advertising, so we pass these savings directly on to you. Be aware that most dealers around America don't explain this cost to the customer.

2. We sell in volume: Just as Amazon.com makes its money by selling tons of books for less profit per item, Karl Tyler Chevrolet makes its profit by selling greater volumes of vehicles at lower prices. Once again, we pass the savings on to you. We aren't interested in negotiating and haggling to get higher prices on each vehicle. Instead, we maintain a steady flow of vehicles coming in and out, raising our allocation of vehicles from GM and keeping us in business to continue giving you great deals. This is a distinct advantage we have over your local dealer who relies on a high profit from each vehicle.

3. No hassling: Because we sell in volume rather than maximizing profit on each vehicle, we give you the best price on our vehicles immediately. Most local dealers will quote you a high price and claim that it is their "best price," but if you turn to walk out their doors, they will lower their price to see if you will accept it. We don't have the time nor inclination to conduct ourselves like that at Karl Tyler. The "Buy It Now" price you see on our eBay auctions, for instance, is our best price right off the bat (sometimes allowing us only minimal profit per vehicle), and we often receive customers who have done their research and recognize that our prices are typically the best.

4. We're experienced at the online process: Our Internet office is staffed by people who enjoy talking and working with customers from all over America. We are down to Earth and professional, and our employees have had management experience in sales, service, and website operation before working in the Internet Department at Karl Tyler Chevrolet. Since our Internet salesmen and site operator have been together in the department for an average of five years, we've dealt with it all: truckers, dispachers, other dealers, leases, the Corvette Museum, scam artists, phishers, and high-profile buyers. If you have never purchased a vehicle online before, we can walk you through the process and be there when you have questions.

5. We've shipped to a place near you: If you live in America, then we've likely sold and shipped a vehicle to your area. Between 2003 and 2007, Karl Tyler has sold vehicles to customers in 49 states and territories, and we are experienced in organizing truckers to get your vehicle to you in a matter of a few weeks. We have several truckers we know well and have connections with the dispatchers of a wide transport network ready to carry a vehicle across the country, and our location on a major interstate highway speeds the process. View our map of the United States that shows where we have sold and shipped vehicles (as of March, 2007).

6. We have the allocation: Because our sales are constantly growing at a rapid rate, we have a consistently growing allocation of vehicles from GM. If you are unfamiliar with the world of allocation, then here's a quick explanation: Depending on a dealership's volume of sales, GM allows that dealership a certain number of each kind of vehicle during the year. The more the dealership sells, the more GM rewards that dealership with additional choice of vehicle supply. Since we have a large allocation, we can work with you to order your exact, perfect car or truck and have it on the lot in six to eight weeks from the factory. This is especially important on high-demand vehicles such as the Corvette and diesel Silverados, which often have limitations on their production. Our stock in the past, for instance, has included a used 2002 ZL1 Camaro (69 in existence) and a new 2007 Ron Fellows edition Z06 Corvette (399 in existence). If you want a limited edition vehicle, try us first!

7. No finance officers or sales managers: When you dealer with one of our Internet salesmen, that contact will handle every aspect of your transaction. Traditionally, when you walk into a dealership, you get passed from a salesperson to a finance officer to any number of managers. In our Internet office, you deal with one person from start to finish, even in the shipping of the vehicle. Our Internet salesmen can handle all your financing and shipping needs, and because we offer our best price immediately, there is no manager with whom to confer about price. We know that it's important for you to have one solid contact when making such an important purchase from a remote location.

8. You can visit Missoula and save the shipping: Some of our customers bypass the shipping costs of a new vehicle by making a vacation out of their purchasing experience. Karl Tyler Chevrolet is located in scenic Missoula, Montana, a popular destination point for outdoor recreation in both the summer and the winter. Our summers are outstanding in their warmth and beauty, and our winters provide close access to skiing and other attractions. If you choose to pick up your vehicle in person and drive it to your home (a great way to 'break in' that new car!), we will assist you in making hotel reservations (hotels are right across the street from the dealership) and pick you up at our nearby international airport.

9. If you have a question, we can answer it: Should there be a bump in the road, we will do everything we can to correct it. We follow up with all of our customers to make sure they know how to operate all of the features on the vehicle, and we're available at any time answer your questions and concerns.
